January 30, 2025: San Jose, CA 95111 Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 49-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Valley Christian advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a West Catholic match on Saturday, February 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 13-5. St. Ignatius College Preparatory won 66-60 in their recent league match against Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA)
The Monarchs now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Junipero Serra for a West Catholic match on Saturday, February 1. Archbishop Mitty will meet a Padres squad coming off a 66-60 league loss to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Padres record now stands at 11-7.
