Michigan High School Basketball - Fowler thwarts St. Patrick
January 30, 2025: Portland, MI 48875 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI) and the host St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI), observed Fowler's basketball team knock off St. Patrick by a score of 53-40.
The Eagles (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pewamo-Westphalia (Pewamo, MI). The Pirates come into the Central Michigan challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Pewamo-Westphalia prevailed over Saranac (Saranac, MI), 81-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Shamrocks encounter the Potterville Vikings (Potterville, MI) in a Central Michigan challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. St. Patrick will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 55-44 league loss to Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI).
