North Carolina High School Basketball - Grace Academy bests Lab University Prep Varsity

January 30, 2025: Matthews, NC 28104

The Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball were victorious over the visiting Lab University Prep Varsity Kings (Charlotte, NC), 80-72 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Lions face the Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 31. Grace Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 12-4 record after their 78-65 league win over Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC).

The Kings (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Fire come into the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Family Academy defeated Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC), 56-50, in a league contest.
