In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Louisa-Muscatine Falcons basketball team scored a big 75-51 triumph over the Rivermont Collegiate Lions.

The Falcons (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA). The Ravens go into the SEI - North contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest Academy was trounced by Pekin (Packwood, IA), 51-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Pathway Christian Panthers (Kalona, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Rivermont Collegiate will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
