January 30, 2025: Beloit, WI 53511 The Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI) basketball were winner over the host Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI), 72-62 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cheesemakers now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Big Foot for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Monroe will play a Chiefs team coming off a 82-54 non-league loss to East Troy (East Troy, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-11.
With the loss, Turner falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host McFarland (McFarland, WI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 9-5. McFarland won 86-76 in their recent league bout against Edgewood (Madison, WI)
