Iowa High School Basketball - B-G-M nudges East Marshall
January 30, 2025: Le Grand, IA 50142 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the host East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), observed B-G-M's basketball team edge East Marshall by a score of 38-33.
The Bears (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Warriors come into the South Iowa Cedar challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, H-L-V was tipped by North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA), 57-24, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. East Marshall will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The J-Hawks come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 42-41 non-league win over Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
