January 30, 2025: Danville, IL 61832 Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), 62-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Normal Community upgrades its record to 21-6 on the year. The Ironmen host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 4-18.
The Vikings now sport a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a Vermilion Valley match on Monday, February 3. Danville will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 30-13 league win over Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-10.
