Maine High School Basketball - Mount View overwhelms Maine Central Institute
January 30, 2025: Thorndike, ME 04986 The Mount View Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Erskine Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Mount View will confront a Eagles team coming off a 69-34 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Maine Central Institute falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Huskies host Waterville (Waterville, ME) to confront the Panthers in a B North game on Monday, February 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-17. Waterville lost 50-25 in their recent league game against Winslow (Winslow, ME)
