January 30, 2025: Woodstock, VT 05091 Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT), 43-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. St. Joseph Academy advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Green Wave host Granville (Granville, NY) to meet the Golden Horde in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Golden Horde enter the match with a record of 2-9. Granville lost 33-25 in their recent non-league match against Cambridge (Cambridge, NY)
The Wasps now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland & Gray for a Marble Valley - C match on Friday, February 7.
