South Dakota High School Basketball - Pine Ridge thwarts Todd County
January 30, 2025: Mission, SD 57555 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) and the host Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD), observed Pine Ridge's basketball team knock off Todd County by a score of 48-38.
The Thorpes (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs come into the A Region 7 challenge with a 4-8 record.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Todd County will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 72-48 non-league win over Lemmon/McIntosh (Lemmon, SD).
