Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Saint Francis Catholic Wolves (Gainesville, FL), 45-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Union County upgrades its record to 8-15 on the year. The Fightin' Tigers host Hamilton County (Jasper, FL) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 3-12. Hamilton County lost 70-27 in their recent league match against Lafayette (Mayo, FL)
