January 30, 2025: St. Cloud, MN 56303 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) and the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN), observed St. Cloud Cathedral's basketball team overwhelm Sauk Rapids-Rice by a score of 55-18.
The Crusaders (10-23) will now prepare for their challenge against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Moorhead was routed by Alexandria (Alexandria, MN), 69-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm battle the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to improve on its 0-20 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 67-49 non-league win over Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN).
