January 30, 2025: Waterville, ME 04901 Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME), 50-25 in a league match.
With the victory, Winslow upgrades its record to 2-14 on the year. The Black Raiders travel to Leavitt (Turner, ME) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 10-6. Leavitt won 48-45 in their recent league match against Morse (Bath, ME)
The Panthers now sport a 0-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a B North match on Monday, February 3. Waterville will face a Huskies squad coming off a 55-26 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 5-12.
