The Prairie View Academy Spartans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Hillcrest Christian Cougars to 35 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now have a 2-0 record.

With the loss, Hillcrest Christian falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS) to confront the Eagles in a challenge on Friday, January 31.
