January 31, 2022: Portland, TN 37148 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Portland Panthers (Portland, TN) and the visiting RePublic (Nashville, TN), saw Portland's basketball squad wallop RePublic by a tally of 72-40.
With the victory, Portland improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Smith County (Carthage, TN) to confront the Owls in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Smith County won 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against DeKalb County (Smithville, TN)
Next up, the confront the KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors (Nashville, TN) in a 2A District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. RePublic will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 65-25 league loss to Pearl-Cohn (Nashville, TN).
