Iowa High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Whiting
January 31, 2022: Whiting, IA 51063 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) and the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Whiting by a tally of 88-14.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Treynor (Treynor, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Whiting will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Omaha Nation (Macy, NE).
