Michigan High School Basketball - Akron-Fairgrove can't hold off Bentley
January 31, 2022: Fairgrove, MI 48733 The Bentley Bulldogs basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atherton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Bentley will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 63-20 league loss to Hamady (Flint, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-8.
The Vikings (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Caseville (Caseville, MI). The Eagles enter the North Central Thumb - Stripes contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Caseville was nudged by Genesee (Genesee, MI), 61-37, in a non-league contest.
