New York High School Basketball - Nyack nips Chester
January 31, 2022: Upper Nyack, NY 10960 Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY), 38-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nyack upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Nanuet (Nanuet, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a Section 1 Conference 2B bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Nanuet won 51-24 in their recent non-league bout against Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY)
Next up, the Hambletonians play the Tri-Valley Bears (Grahamsville, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County V bout, on Wednesday, February 2. Chester will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
