Iowa High School Basketball - West Hancock crushes Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS
January 31, 2022: Clarion, IA West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 59-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Hancock upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA) to clash with the Broncos in a North Iowa bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the clash with the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 42-30 league win over Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA).
