In Monday's league outing, the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) basketball squad beat the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), by a margin of 67-54.

The Spartans (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 1-16 record. In their last outing, New Prague was topped by Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 63-51, in a non-league outing.
