Connecticut High School Basketball - Manchester overwhelms Tolland
January 31, 2022: Manchester, CT 06040 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT) and the visiting Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT), saw Manchester's basketball squad wallop Tolland by a count of 66-18.
With the victory, Manchester upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Southington (Southington, CT) to play the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Southington won 48-44 in their recent league challenge against Hall (West Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Eagles play the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 4. Tolland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 44-34 non-league loss to Bristol Central (Bristol, CT).
