Arizona High School Soccer - Coronado held off by Poston Butte
January 31, 2022: Scottsdale, AZ 85257 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) and the host Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Poston Butte's soccer squad get by Coronado by a margin of 1-0.
The Broncos now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Vista Grande for a 4A Black Canyon test on Wednesday, February 2. Poston Butte will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Coronado drops to 0-10 on the season. The Dons host Cortez (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Colts in a 4A Black Canyon test on Thursday, February 3. The Colts come into the test with a record of 2-9. Cortez won 7-4 in their recent league test against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ)
