The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles edged the visiting Morristown Colonials ice hockey squad by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

With the victory, Morris Knolls betters its record to 5-0 on the campaign.

The Colonials now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Roxbury for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 3. Morristown will confront a Gaels squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 0-2.
