January 31, 2023: Harvey, LA 70058 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) and the host Cox Cougars (Harvey, LA), saw Archbishop Shaw's basketball squad overcome Cox by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Archbishop Shaw improves its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to confront the Hurricanes in a 4A District 10 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 0-8.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Cox will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA).
