January 31, 2023: Blackduck, MN 56630 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) and the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), saw Blackduck's basketball squad overcome East Grand Forks by a tally of 75-61.
With the victory, Blackduck improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Drakes travel to North Woods (Cook, MN) to confront the grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. North Woods won 87-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenway (Coleraine, MN)
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. East Grand Forks will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 65-57 league loss to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN).
