Montana High School Basketball - Broadview/Lavina tipped by Joliet
January 31, 2023: Joliet, MT 59041 The Joliet J Hawks basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Broadview/Lavina Pirates to 38 in the J Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The J Hawks now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweet Grass County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Joliet will meet a Sheepherders team coming off a 44-33 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, MT). The Sheepherders record now stands at 5-8.
The Pirates (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Melstone (Melstone, MT). The Broncs enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Melstone nudged Custer/Hysham (Custer, MT), 47-31, in a league contest.
