Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carrollton Cavaliers (Carrollton, MI), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nouvel Catholic Central upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI) to play the Chargers in a Tri-Valley - West bout on Friday, February 3. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Valley Lutheran lost 56-36 in their recent non-league bout against Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI) in a Tri-Valley - West bout, on Friday, February 3. Carrollton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 62-37 league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI).
