The Clifton Central Comets basketball team (Clifton, IL), dropped 63-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL)

The Sabers now possess a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heyworth for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 1. St. Thomas More will confront a Hornets team coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 17-8.

The Comets (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 10-16 record. In their last battle, Gardner-South Wilmington dropped by Dwight (Dwight, IL), 75-58, in a non-league battle.
