In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Polk County Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 72-40 triumph over the Copper Basin Cougars.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the McMinn Central Chargers (Englewood, TN) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Polk County will attempt to better on its 11-13 season record.
