Iowa High School Basketball - Waukee crushes Des Moines East
January 31, 2023: Des Moines, IA 50316 Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Des Moines East Scarlets (Des Moines, IA), 98-66 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waukee upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Johnston (Johnston, IA) to play the Dragons in a Central Iowa Metro - West bout on Friday, February 3. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Johnston lost 57-54 in their recent league bout against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA)
Next up, the Scarlets play the Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, February 3. Des Moines East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 35-25 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA).
