January 31, 2023: Macon, GA 31210 In Tuesday's league outing, the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) basketball squad beat the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), by a count of 70-53.
The Bears (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 2 outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Spalding was topped by Westside (Macon, GA), 72-60, in a league outing.
The Huskies now hold a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Perry for a AAAA Region 2 outing on Friday, February 3. Howard will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 44-38 league win over Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-11.
