Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) and the visiting White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH), saw Groveton's basketball team get by White Mountains by a tally of 47-43.

The Eagles now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodsville for a Division IV battle on Wednesday, February 1. Groveton will confront a Engineers team coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH). The Engineers record now stands at 12-3.
