Michigan High School Basketball - Manistee knocked off by Reed City
January 31, 2023: Reed City, MI 49677 The Reed City Coyotes basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Manistee Chippewas to 44 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Coyotes now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri County Area for a Central State - Gold contest on Friday, February 3. Reed City will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
The Chippewas (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Oakridge (Muskegon, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Oakridge was defeated by North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI), 43-40, in a league contest.
