Vermont High School Basketball - Rutland overwhelms Woodstock
January 31, 2023: Rutland, VT 05701 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) and the visiting Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT), saw Rutland's basketball squad wallop Woodstock by a tally of 78-39.
With the victory, Rutland improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT) to confront the Colonels in a Southern Vermont - A challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Brattleboro lost 43-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Hartford (White River Junction, VT)
Next up, the Wasps confront the Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Woodstock will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
