Louisiana High School Basketball - Zachary crushes St. Amant
January 31, 2023: Zachary, LA 70791 Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), 89-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Zachary upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A District 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Woodlawn-B.R. lost 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against White Castle (White Castle, LA)
Next up, the Gators clash with the Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Amant will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 75-57 non-league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA).
