Ohio High School Basketball - Central Crossing can't hold off Hamilton Township

The Hamilton Township Rangers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Central Crossing Comets to 40 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Circleville for a Mid-State - Buckeye contest on Friday, February 3. Hamilton Township will battle a Tigers team coming off a 44-34 non-league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 15-4.

The Comets (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Newark (Newark, OH). The Wildcats enter the Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Newark nudged Teays Valley (Ashville, OH), 42-32, in a non-league contest.
