With the victory, Elk Mound improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Mounders host Boyceville (Boyceville, WI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Dunn-St. Croix challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.

The Spartans come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 61-49 non-league win over Athens (Athens, WI).
