January 31, 2023: Englewood, CO 80113 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO) and the visiting Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO), saw Englewood's basketball squad overcome Jefferson by a tally of 52-37.
With the victory, Englewood improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO) to confront the Generals in a 4A Frontier challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Arrupe Jesuit won 71-25 in their recent league challenge against Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO)
Next up, the Saints confront the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies (Denver, CO) in a 3A Frontier challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 43-32 league loss to Lake County (Leadville, CO).
