January 31, 2023: Mattawan, MI 49071 The Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) basketball smashed the host Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI), 58-31 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Ottawa for a Ottawa-Kent - Red contest on Friday, February 3. Grandville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 49-44 league loss to Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the Southwestern Michigan - West contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Portage Central was routed by Marshall (Marshall, MI), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
