Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Highland Hornets (Medina, OH), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western Reserve Academy upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Pioneers host Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH) to clash with the Gators in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Laurel won 61-37 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Hathaway Brown Blazers (Shaker Heights, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record.
