The Hightstown Rams basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Nottingham Northstars to 17 in the Rams non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a Colonial Valley - Colonial contest on Friday, February 3. Hightstown will battle a Irish team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Irish record now stands at 14-6.

The Northstars (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Hopewell Valley Central was routed by Steinert (Hamilton, NJ), 39-37, in a league contest.
