The Sierra Chieftains basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Parlier Panthers to 9 in the Chieftains league victory on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yosemite for a Northwest Sequoia contest on Friday, February 3. Sierra will battle a Badgers team coming off a 39-35 league win over Minarets (O'Neals, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 10-16.

The Panthers (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA). The Eagles come into the Northwest Sequoia contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Fresno Christian was routed by Coalinga (Coalinga, CA), 38-36, in a non-league contest.
