January 31, 2023: Newnan, GA 30263 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Newnan Cougars soccer squad scored a close 8-2 win over the Sandy Creek Patriots.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Carrollton was overwhelmed by Columbus (Columbus, GA), 5-0, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Sandy Creek drops to 1-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to meet the War Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, February 3.
