Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel fells Archbishop Carroll
January 31, 2023: Olney, MD 20853 Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 59-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Our Lady of Good Counsel upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 53-31 non-league loss to St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC).
