California High School Basketball - Paramount trounces Animo Leadership
January 31, 2024: Paramount, CA 90723 The Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles (Inglewood, CA), 60-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (4-23) will now prepare for their test against Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Gladiators go into the San Gabriel Valley outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Gahr smashed Bellflower (Bellflower, CA), 52-39, in a league outing.
The Aztec Eagles now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Environmental Charter for a Mulholland outing on Thursday, February 1. Animo Leadership will clash with a White Tigers squad coming off a 85-49 league loss to Price (Los Angeles, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
