Arizona High School Basketball - BASIS - Peoria nudges Western SciTech
January 31, 2024: Phoenix, AZ BASIS - Peoria (Peoria, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Western SciTech Aztec Warrior (Phoenix, AZ), 37-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, BASIS - Peoria upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The travel to Heritage Academy Gateway (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Heroes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Heroes go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Heritage Academy Gateway won 48-35 in their recent non-league bout against Alta Vista Charter (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Aztec Warrior clash with the Mission Heights Prep Phantoms (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Western SciTech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Phantoms go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 82-47 non-league loss to Empower College Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
