Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) and the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), saw Carolina International's basketball squad hold off Sugar Creek by a tally of 50-47.

With the victory, Carolina International improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Comets host Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a 1A Metro 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Sugar Creek won 66-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC)
