Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Cocalico ripped by Red Lion
January 31, 2024: Denver, PA 17517 The Red Lion Lions basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Cocalico Eagles to 47 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Grove for a York-Adams 1 contest on Friday, February 2. Red Lion will meet a Rockets team coming off a 70-59 non-league loss to West York Area (York, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 5-11.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Eastern Lebanon County triumphed over Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA), 70-50, in a league contest.
