In Wednesday's non-league match, the host North Gem Cowboys basketball team scored a good 59-43 triumph over the Richfield Tigers.

In their next game, the Cowboys meet the Alturas Prep Pumas (Idaho Falls, ID) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 1. North Gem will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Pumas enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 56-19 league loss to Butte County (Arco, ID).

With the defeat, Richfield moves to 1-16 on the year. The Tigers host Grace Lutheran (Pocatello, ID) to meet the Royals in a non-league match on Friday, February 2.
