Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tussey Mountain holds off Williamsburg
January 31, 2024: Saxton, PA 16678 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tussey Mountain Titans (Saxton, PA) and the visiting Williamsburg Blue Pirates (Williamsburg, PA), saw Tussey Mountain's basketball squad hold off Williamsburg by a tally of 65-60.
With the victory, Tussey Mountain improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA) to confront the Rockets in a Inter County - East challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Southern Huntingdon County won 48-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA)
Next up, the Blue Pirates confront the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Inter County - North challenge, on Friday, February 2. Williamsburg will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 55-43 non-league loss to North Star (Boswell, PA).
